In line with that vision, MUC Consulting actively participates in Indonesia Business Links, a non-profit profit organizations that promotes ethical business practices in Indonesia.
In addition, MUC Consulting is a member of United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), an international organization under the United Nations that supports the Ten Principles on Human Rights, Labour, Environment, and Anti-corruption.


MUC Social Responsibility
Good corporate citizenship, according to MUC Consulting, is about building harmonious relationships with stakeholders by delivering value in line with the company’s mission. This covers the company’s commitment to the environment, positive contributions to the community, fair and respectful treatment of employees, and ethical business practices.
MUC Consulting has embraced good corporate citizenship since its early stages of development. MUC Consulting believes that good corporate citizenship is essential for a company to operate sustainably over the long term. For MUC Consulting, such commitment is not exclusive to leading corporations, but is a responsibility that all companies should uphold.
Our positive contributions to the community include the following.
MUC Consulting actively supports the improvement of tax administration and implementation in Indonesia. Our experts provided input to parliament during the drafting of the Indonesian Tax Laws in 2000 and 2008.
MUC Consulting encourages employees to participate in their communities, including by providing additional annual leave for employees who volunteer in social activities, such as humanitarian work and fundraising for underdeveloped areas, as well as through corporate donations.
MUC Consulting provides financial support and actively participates in several non-governmental organizations involved in community development, e.g. Center for Indonesian Reform, Institute for Economic Study, and Indonesia Business Links.
MUC Consulting supports the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) related to human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.
MUC Consulting regularly supports and participates in international conferences on social and economic development in Indonesia.

Saving energy by turning off air conditioners and computers when they are not in use

Prohibiting bribery and excessive entertainment expenses, in line with MUC Consulting’s commitment to implementing the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) based on ISO 37001:2016 standards.

Using only licensed software on all computers as part of compliance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards, to protect the integrity and security of both client and internal data

Education:
For years, MUC Consulting has been committed to providing free training for students, taxpayers, tax officers, and tax consultants tailored to their specific needs under a program named Generating Real Excellence in the Area of Taxation (GREAT). This program is aimed at creating a better tax environment in Indonesia by promoting professionalism and improving tax awareness among relevant stakeholders.
MUC Consulting recognizes its role in sharing knowledge by actively contributing to tertiary education as lecturers or keynote speakers, in addition to providing financial support for students’ activities.
As a part of its broader commitment to education, MUC Consulting established Yayasan Buah Hati, a foundation engaged in primary education.
