JAKARTA. Taxpayers will be unable to access the Coretax system temporarily this weekend.
The scheduled downtime will last for 24 hours, from 6:00 p.m. WIB on Saturday (July 4, 2026) until 6:00 p.m. WIB on Sunday (July 5, 2026). The outage is due to routine maintenance carried out by the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT).
During the maintenance period, all tax administration services available through Coretax will be inaccessible. Taxpayers will be able to access the system again once the maintenance has been completed.
In its announcement, the DGT apologized to taxpayers for the inconvenience caused.
This is not the first time the DGT has temporarily taken Coretax offline. The tax authority has conducted system maintenance on several occasions to ensure the stability and resilience of the Coretax platform. Taxpayers are therefore encouraged to anticipate similar scheduled downtime in the future.
Since its implementation in 2025, Coretax has become the backbone of Indonesia's tax administration system, replacing the previous fragmented platforms.
The implementation of Coretax is officially governed by the Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 81 of 2024, marking a major transformation of Indonesia's tax administration for both individual and corporate taxpayers. (KEN)
