DGT–Directorate General of AHU Cooperation Boosts Revenue to IDR 896.6 Trillion

JAKARTA. The cooperation between the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance and the Directorate General of Legal Administrative Affairs (AHU) of the Ministry of Law has been seen as contributing to state revenue amounting to IDR 896.6 trillion.

Previously, the DGT and the Directorate General of AHU had signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) covering two key areas. First, the strengthening and utilization of the beneficial ownership database during the period 2019–2024.

A beneficial owner is typically identified as the party that ultimately enjoys the benefits of a corporation.

The second agreement involves the use of the AHU Online database to support revenue collection for the 2020–2025 period. Through this collaboration, the DGT has received a total of 540,396 data entries containing complete profiles from the Directorate General of AHU.

To follow up on the existing collaboration, the DGT and the Directorate General of AHU have signed a new agreement. The signing took place on Thursday (September 11) in Jakarta.

In a written statement, Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto expressed appreciation for the established cooperation. He also emphasized that this agreement reflects both institutions’ commitment to improving tax compliance. (ASP/KEN)
