Dissatisfied with Tax or Customs Services? Minister Purbaya Opens Direct Complaint Channel

JAKARTA. Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has opened a public complaints channel for issues related to services provided by the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE).

The complaints channel is available through the WhatsApp (WA) communication platform at 0822-4040-6600, and has been active since October 15, 2025, specifically for receiving WhatsApp messages.

This means that members of the public who are dissatisfied with services from either institution, tax or customs, can now submit their complaints directly through this channel.

Purbaya stated that a dedicated administration team has been assigned to process every complaint received. These reports will be collected, reviewed, and followed up according to applicable procedures.

Commitment to Transparency

The launch of the complaints channel for DGT and DGCE services is part of Purbaya’s effort to prevent potential misconduct by employees of both institutions.

This initiative is also part of the Ministry of Finance’s commitment to strengthening integrity and transparency, ensuring that every public concern can be heard directly.

The Ministry of Finance reminds the public that every submission must include the complainant’s full name and email address to ensure proper follow-up. (ASP/KEN)
