MUC Consulting Receives Strategic Scholarship Partner Award from FIA UI
JAKARTA. MUC Consulting received an award from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) as one of its Strategic Scholarship Partners during the Studium Generale event, part of FIA UI’s 10th Anniversary Celebration. The event was held at Balai Purnomo, Universitas Indonesia, as part of a series commemorating a decade since FIA UI's establishment.
The award was presented in recognition of MUC’s contribution to expanding access to higher education for high-achieving students facing financial challenges. MUC’s scholarship covers Single Tuition Fees (UKT) until graduation, subject to academic performance requirements.
Director of MUC Consulting Erry Tri Merryta expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized that the scholarship program reflects the firm's ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment.
“We provide scholarships for FIA UI students who face financial hardship to ensure they don’t drop out. While we see this as our social obligation, we are still truly thankful for the appreciation shown by FIA UI,” said Erry.
At the same occasion, Partner of Tax Dispute MUC Consulting and an alumna of FIA UI, Shinta Marvianti, also expressed her pride in being able to give back to her alma mater.
"Seeing FIA grow and stand as an independent faculty is an extraordinary achievement. Through MUC, I feel honored to once again contribute to my alma mater. I hope this collaboration continues to strengthen in the future,” said Shinta.
Strategic Collaboration for Sustainable Education
The award presented to MUC Consulting was part of the main agenda of the Studium Generale, themed “Artificial Intelligence for Government Innovation and Inclusive Policy.”
In addition to being a moment of reflection on FIA UI’s decade-long journey, the event also served as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between academia and the professional world in creating real impact for society.
Dean of FIA UI, Prof. Dr. Retno Kusumastuti Hardjono, M.Si.., emphasized that support from partners like MUC is crucial for maintaining the quality of education and ensuring the continuity of students’ academic journeys.
“Many of our students are highly capable but face financial limitations. This is where strategic partners like MUC play an essential role in ensuring they can continue their education and reach their full potential,” she explained.
Echoing this sentiment, UI Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, also expressed his appreciation for FIA UI’s achievements as an independent faculty with its facilities and its ability to build strategic partnerships. He emphasized that UI’s future reputation must be built on the tangible impact of collaborative efforts.
“It’s not enough to excel in programs and publications, we must also generate impact and reputation that are felt by all stakeholders, including through initiatives like today’s,” he said.
Heri also stressed the importance of sustainability in partnerships.
“I hope this collaboration doesn't stop at the signing ceremony but is truly implemented in both academic and non-academic areas,” he added. (KEN)
