MUC Holds Blood Donation, 55 Bags Collected for Humanity

JAKARTA – The availability of an adequate blood supply remains a significant challenge in the healthcare sector. Recognizing this, MUC Consulting initiated a blood donation campaign through its Butterfly Effect Program (BEP) as a tangible contribution to help those in need.

Held on Friday, June 13, the event drew participation from 77 MUC Consulting employees. Of those, more than 55 were deemed eligible and successfully donated blood.

Collaboration with PMI

To conduct this initiative, MUC Consulting partnered with the South Jakarta branch of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).

Iffa Nurlatifah, BEP Project Leader, stated that the blood donation program is part of the BEP Team's broader social initiative.

For context, BEP is a humanitarian movement initiated by professionals at MUC Consulting.

Through this campaign, the BEP Team aims to support hospitals and patients in need of blood, ranging from accident victims to those suffering from chronic illnesses.

Blood Donation as a Regular MUC Agenda

"Blood donation is not just about giving a drop of blood, but offering hope for life to others. It’s a real demonstration that small actions can make a big impact," said Iffa, who also serves as a Supervisor in MUC’s Transfer Pricing Division.

This initiative is planned to become a regular agenda, ideally conducted once or twice a year, though its implementation still depends on slot availability and scheduling with PMI.

With a spirit of mutual cooperation and solidarity, the BEP Team hopes more individuals will be inspired to donate blood, as each bag of blood can save lives. (ASP/KEN)
