MUC Holds Taxation Update 2026 in MM2100 Industrial Area, Discusses Coretax Challenges
MUC Consulting menggelar Taxation Update 2026 di kawasan industri MM2100 yang membahas strategi menghadapi SPT PPh Badan di era Coretax

JAKARTA. MUC Consulting organized the Taxation Update 2026 seminar themed "Strategies for Handling Corporate Income Tax Returns and SP2DK Trends in the Coretax Era" on Thursday, 12 February 2026, at the Conference Room of MM2100 Industrial Town, West Cikarang. The event was attended by around 58 participants, mostly representing companies located in the MM2100 industrial area.

The seminar featured Evy Suryany, Tax Planning & Compliance Manager at MUC Consulting, as the speaker. In her presentation, she discussed the differences in corporate income tax return filing between the Coretax system and e-Form, changes in the Coretax return attachments, as well as filing simulations and strategies to address potential clarification requests from the tax authority (SP2DK).

Evy explained that the filing of the 2025 Annual Corporate Income Tax Return has undergone fundamental changes with the implementation of Coretax, not only in terms of portal migration but also in process flow and data sources.

“Taxpayers are now required to complete a questionnaire at the initial stage to determine the necessary attachments and to utilize the pre-populated feature, which provides automatic data such as Income Tax Article (ITA) 22 credits, ITA 23 credits, and fixed asset depreciation. However, the data still needs to be validated and may be adjusted if it does not reflect the actual conditions,” she explained.

Commitment to Tax Education

MUC Consulting Marketing Manager Iksan Sadar explained that the event aimed to provide updated information on the implementation of Coretax, including the challenges faced by taxpayers and practical solutions that companies can apply.

“By holding the event in an industrial area, we hope to make it easier for participants, most of whom are companies around MM2100, to attend the seminar, as the location is relatively close to their workplaces,” said Iksan.

During the event, participant enthusiasm remained high throughout the sessions. The Q&A session was even divided into three batches, with three to four participants in each session, to ensure all questions could be accommodated.

In addition to the seminar, MUC Consulting also provided a free tax clinic held simultaneously with the event. This service allowed participants to engage in more technical consultations through one-on-one sessions lasting 20 minutes for each registered company.

Through this event, MUC Consulting hopes companies will be better prepared to face changes in the taxation system in the digital era, particularly in fulfilling corporate tax reporting obligations accurately and in accordance with the latest regulations. (KEN)
