MUC Professionals Share Insights on GMT and APA in UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Practitioner Lecture
JAKARTA. Transfer pricing professionals from MUC Consulting were entrusted to deliver a session in the Practitioner Lecture held by Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran Yogyakarta on Friday (14/11).
The topics presented in this lecture covered two areas. First, transfer pricing risk mitigation through Advance Pricing Agreements (APA). Second, the implementation of the Global Minimum Tax (GMT) in Indonesia.
Each topic was delivered by M. Nur Kusumo Ferby Prihartoro, Transfer Pricing Manager at MUC Consulting, and Nendi Bahtiar, Transfer Pricing Manager & Head of Pillar Two Tax Advisory Services at MUC Consulting.
According to Nendi, the material presented in this Practitioner Lecture is highly relevant to the challenges students will face before entering the workforce. “If they want to become practitioners in the field of transfer pricing, it is important for them to understand the provisions of APA and GMT,” said Nendi.
Moreover, both topics are currently being widely discussed among practitioners, not only domestically but also internationally. For this reason, he highly appreciated the enthusiasm shown by participants during the event.
He hopes that the material delivered will be useful and motivate students to prepare themselves more seriously before entering the professional world. Especially since one of the keys to growth in the tax industry, particularly in transfer pricing, is having a passion for continuous learning.
Ferby added that tax regulations, including transfer pricing, are very dynamic. Therefore, it takes the spirit to keep growing and acquiring knowledge to remain relevant.
MUC Consulting believes that collaboration with the academic world is very important. This is in line with the values of the consulting firm, which has both a national and an international reputation. (ASP/KEN)
