Through IGCN and A-PAD, MUC Consulting Takes Part in Humanitarian Assistance in Central Tapanuli
JAKARTA. MUC Consulting had the opportunity to participate in humanitarian assistance for disaster-affected communities in Central Tapanuli through collaboration with the UN Global Compact Network Indonesia (IGCN) and the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) Indonesia.
Through this collaboration, assistance in the form of 500 family essential packages and hygiene kits, as well as 500 water filtration units, has been distributed to communities in need. The aid is intended to help meet basic necessities while also supporting post-disaster recovery efforts in the affected areas.
MUC Consulting’s involvement in this initiative reflects the company’s commitment to contributing to sustainable social initiatives. MUC believes that cross-sector synergy, particularly with global networks such as IGCN and humanitarian organizations like A-PAD, plays an important role in strengthening emergency responses and accelerating community recovery.
The distribution of assistance was carried out together with several other IGCN members, including HHP Law Firm, Eagle High Plantations, Ranch Market 99 Indonesia, PT Paragon Technology and Innovation (ParagonCorp), PT Archi Indonesia Tbk, PT Lautan Luas Tbk, Martha Tilaar Group and Partners, and PPLI (Prasadha Pamunah Limbah Industri). Support from individual donors, including Prof. Ferht and colleagues, also complemented the humanitarian efforts.
MUC Consulting hopes that the assistance provided will deliver tangible benefits to the people of Central Tapanuli and serve as part of the moral and social support needed during the recovery process, which requires time and collective effort from various stakeholders.
