Dedication to Education and Research, MUC Receives the Pro Bono Firm of the Year Award
LONDON. MUC Consulting has been honored as Pro Bono Firm of the Year at the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Tax Awards 2025 organized by the International Tax Review (ITR).
This award is presented to firms that demonstrate a strong commitment to reducing the environmental impact of their operations, promoting workforce development and social mobility, taking initiatives to strengthen local communities, and upholding ethical business practices.
The Pro Bono Firm of the Year recognition is one of four awards received by MUC Consulting at the event, which were accepted directly by its delegation attending the award ceremony in London, United Kingdom.
Other awards received include Withholding Tax Firm of the Year and two individual honors: Transfer Pricing Advisory Rising Star, awarded to Rama Ames Remonda (Transfer Pricing Manager), and Tax Advisory Rising Star, awarded to Cindy Miranti (Tax Advisory Manager).
MUC Consulting’s Transfer Pricing Partner, Wahyu Nuryanto, who led the delegation, expressed that this recognition serves as international appreciation for MUC Consulting’s contributions to the development of the taxation field in Indonesia.
He also emphasized that MUC Consulting’s strong focus on human capital development in taxation can be seen through various collaboration programs with educational institutions, as well as scholarship opportunities for outstanding students.
Several MUC Consulting professionals also dedicate part of their time as lecturers at the University of Indonesia. Furthermore, since its establishment in 1999, the firm has been highly open to welcoming students for internship programs at MUC Consulting.
Additionally, MUC Consulting has established a nonprofit organization, the MUC Tax Research Institute, which focuses on research and publications in the field of taxation. (ASP/KEN)
