Tax Court Sets Recess Period for March 16–27, 2026

JAKARTA. The Indonesian Tax Court has set a court recess period in observance of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri.

This provision was announced through Announcement Number PENG-2/SP/2026 concerning the determination of the Tax Court recess period.

Based on the announcement, the recess is scheduled from Monday, March 16, 2026, to Friday, March 27, 2026. During this period, the Tax Court will not conduct any hearings.

No Hearing Activities

The announcement also states, “During the recess period, court hearings will be suspended and will resume starting March 30, 2026.”

Accordingly, court proceedings at the Tax Court will recommence on Monday, March 30, 2026, after the recess ends.

The determination of this recess period follows up on Circular Letter of the Chief Judge of the Tax Court Number SE-1/PP/2026 dated February 2, 2026, regarding the designation of the Tax Court recess period in observance of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.

Administrative Activities Continue

Although hearings are temporarily suspended, administrative activities and other work within the Tax Court will continue. Employees and work units will carry out non-hearing duties in accordance with the applicable working hours.

However, the implementation of these activities will still adjust to national holidays and collective leave determined by the government.
