DGT and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Sign Data Exchange Agreement

JAKARTA. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) signed a cooperation agreement with the Social Security Agency for Employment (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) on data exchange on Wednesday, August 13, in Jakarta.
The agreement was formalized in cooperation agreement number PRJ-140/PJ/2025 and number PER/311/08202025, signed by Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto and President Director of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Pramudya Iriawan Buntoro.
In addition to data exchange, the cooperation also includes joint activities in the form of education and outreach, including efforts to improve compliance in both taxation and employment social security.
Broadly speaking, this collaboration is not only about optimizing state revenue but also about strengthening the protection of Indonesian workers.
In a written statement, Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto said that the signing of this agreement marks a moment of strengthened synergy between the DGT and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
Moreover, the data to be received by the DGT from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has undergone an identification process, and parts of it have already been validated.
For reference, the signing of this cooperation agreement is a follow-up to Minister of Finance Regulation No. 228/PMK.03/2017 and Presidential Instruction No. 2 of 2021. (ASP/KEN)
