DGT Updates AEoI Participant List and Reporting Destinations
JAKARTA. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) has updated the list of participating countries/jurisdictions and reporting destinations in the automatic exchange of information (AEoI) program.
As stated by DGT in Announcement Number PENG-1/PJ/2025, 115 countries/jurisdictions are now participating in AEoI.
This marks an increase of three countries/jurisdictions compared to the 2024 AEoI participants, which totaled 112 countries/jurisdictions as outlined in PENG-2/PJ/2024.

In full, five new countries have been added to the list: Armenia, Moldova, The Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uganda. Meanwhile, two countries/jurisdictions, The Bahamas and New Caledonia, are no longer on the list.
As for Indonesia's AEoI reporting destinations, according to the announcement released on January 24, 2025, the total now stands at 89 countries/jurisdictions. This marks an increase of six countries/jurisdictions compared to 2024.
DGT stated that this update was made to follow up on the signing or activation of the multilateral competent authority agreement on AEoI.
Previously, AEoI regulations were outlined in Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 70/PMK.03/2017, which was later amended by PMK Number 47 of 2024. (ASP/KEN)
